When your DVD-rom doesn’t want to install old setups

So my Dell M90 does not want to install some older programs from DVD even when I copy it locally to disk. It gives this error message: “Specified path does not exist”. A little searching and I find some answers

So this post is more a note to me in case I get another persnickity program that won’t install I can remember this thread.
